The role of the secretary is to keep and update club records, such as member attendance, meeting minutes, and event details. They also assist the treasurer in submitting club dues and maintaining financial receipts. For our founding year, we split this job into two positions; organizer and secretary. This way, we had one officer keeping track of details and documents, and another officer to coordinate the incoming of such.
